| Summary: | Forced displacement results in social inequalities negatively affecting the well-being of displaced women. Addressing the economic, social, cultural, and environmental dimensions of their vulnerability is crucial. This article examines the perspectives of 59 displaced women in informal settlements in northern Colombia on violations of their rights. Interpretative phenomenological analysis reveals economic hurdles, such as limited access to decent work and workplace discrimination. Social barriers, like stigmatization and discrimination, impede integration and access to essential services. Despite challenges, increasing awareness and implementing inclusive policies can enhance the living conditions of displaced women. |
