| Zusammenfassung: | This paper brings the discussion on the need for an understanding of the environment not only in material terms, but within an eco-philosophical, restorative and critical Indigenous framework to re-centre an Indigenous ontology, epistemology and axiology abundant in its cultural, and relational values to ultimately enhance environmental protection and justice beyond the orthodoxy of western criminal law architecture or the hegemony of western concepts of development and science. Este artículo plantea la necesidad de comprender el medio ambiente no solo en términos materiales, sino también dentro de un marco indígena ecofilosófico, restaurador y crítico, con el fin de recentrar una ontología, epistemología y axiología indígenas ricas en valores culturales y relacionales, para mejorar, en última instancia, la protección y la justicia medioambientales más allá de la ortodoxia de la arquitectura del derecho penal occidental o la hegemonía de los conceptos occidentales de desarrollo y ciencia. |
