| Summary: | The Order of Nine Angles (ONA) is a complex group whose influence in far-right circles has been growing in recent years. Founded in the late 1960s in Britain, its writings are part of the accelerationist trend and blend a variety of ideological influences. This article aims to better understand the particular form its ideology takes through its aesthetics. I posit that ONA is best understood as a meta-ideology rooted in eschatology, dystopia and ultraviolence, whose visual and discursive material can be employed by a wide range of actors in the accelerationist milieu through a discourse of ultimate transgression. |
