Zusammenfassung:The ‘Iter victimae’ or ‘victim’s path’ is a model that illustrates the life trajectory of an individual until they become a victim. Traditionally, this model has explained victimization by examining the intersection of the ‘Iter criminis’ and the ‘Iter victimae’ (‘acting out’); however, the possibility that this theoretical model can be used to elucidate the process of devictimization has not been explored. Additionally, its utility in analyzing the challenge of documenting the victimizing event is discussed in this text.
El “Iter victimae” o “camino de la víctima” es un modelo que muestra la trayectoria de vida de una persona hasta que deviene en víctima. Tradicionalmente, este modelo ha explicado la victimización a partir de la intersección del “Iter criminis” y el “Iter victimae” (“acting out”); sin embargo, no se ha explorado la posibilidad de que este modelo teórico pueda usarse para explicar el proceso de desvictimización, así como su utilidad para analizar la dificultad para documentar el hecho victimizante, áreas que se analizan en este texto.
