Summary:This article aims to analyze the sociological and criminological phenomenonbetween the marginalized culture and security policies, a kind of dichotomy between crime-culture. Based on the situation that certain peripheral cultural manifestations are understood as a crime for a repressive and segregation policy to the detriment of cultural policy. The research employed consists of consulting primary and secondary sources. The analysis is made within the perspective of cultural criminology, which in the words of its founders, is controversial and willing to play with the parameters of the discipline and seriously challenge the conventions of orthodox criminology. For the success of the work, procedures of historical, sociological, criminal and comparative analysis were used.
O artigo proposto tem por objetivo a análise dos fenômenos sociológico e criminológico da confluência entre a cultura marginalizada e as políticas securitárias, uma espécie de dicotomia entre crime-cultura. Partindo-se da situação que determinadas manifestações culturais periféricas são entendidas como crime para uma política repressiva e segregadora, em detrimento de uma política cultural.
