Users should refer to the accompanying readme file for a brief description of the files available with this collection and consult the investigator(s) if further information is needed. This project had four goals/areas of examination. <ol> <li>Examine the current state of the National Integrated Ballistic Information Network (NIBIN) implementation nationally and at partner sites. </li> <li>Examine the impediments and facilitators of successful implementation of NIBIN.</li> <li>Understand the extent to which NIBIN helps identify suspects and increase arrests for firearms crimes.</li> <li>Understand best practices for the implementation of NIBIN at agencies and for criminal investigations.</li></ol>
