El objetivo de este estudio es reflexionar acerca de la mujer adicta-maltratada, cuestionando algunas posturas que existen y tomando las ideas principales para realizar una crítica constructiva desde la situación puertorriqueña. Se concluye con una serie de recomendaciones con relación a la problemática social de la mujer, especialmente con enfoque hacia el estigma que sufre.
