U.a. diese Theorien wurden mit der Bremer Fehleinweisungsstudie – einer Totalerhebung für den Entlassungsjahrgang 2005 des Landes Nordrhein-Westfalen – auf den Prüfstand gestellt. Mittels Analyse der Patientenakten wurde nach validen Prädiktoren für Fehleinweisungen geforscht. Dies führte zu einer empirisch abgesicherten Relativierung des in Theorie und Praxis verbreiteten Erfahrungswissens. | ||
| 520 | |a Rising admissions, increasing overcrowding and exorbitant therapy break off show the dramatic state in which the penal measure of detoxification (in psychiatric hospitals) finds itself since a long time. The background reasons are debated and guessed upon both intra- and interdisciplinary. This frequently results in the reiteration of “well tried” lay theories. These theories, among other things, are tested by our study on faulty admissions, a survey of all patients released in Northrhine-Westfalia in the year 2005. On the basis of an analysis of the patients’ files, we were looking for valid predictors of faulty admissions. This led us to an empirically grounded relativisation of the knowledge widely taken for granted in theory and practice. | ||
