Este estudio analiza los atestados instruidos por la Policía Local de Soria entre 2019 y 2023 con el objetivo de identificar tendencias y características criminológicas básicas de los infractores viales. A partir de este análisis, se busca aportar datos que permitan mejorar las estrategias de seguridad vial en contextos similares, aunque sin pretender evaluar directamente la efectividad de las políticas vigentes. Predomina un perfil de hombres españoles de 41 años, con 17 años de antigüedad en su permiso de conducción, siendo más del 80 % de los casos vinculados al consumo de alcohol. Los delitos ocurren mayormente en horarios nocturnos y fines de semana. Los hallazgos reflejan tendencias en la delincuencia vial de la ciudad y pueden contribuir a estudios más detallados en el futuro. | ||

This study analyses the reports issued by the Local Police of Soria between 2019 and 2023 with the aim of identifying trends and basic criminological characteristics of road offenders. Based on this analysis, the aim is to provide data to improve road safety strategies in similar contexts, although without attempting to directly evaluate the effectiveness of current policies. The predominant profile is that of Spanish men aged 41, with 17 years on their driving licence, with more than 80% of the cases linked to alcohol consumption. Crimes occur mostly at night and on weekends. The findings reflect trends in road crime in the city and may contribute to more detailed studies in the future. | ||
