Description
Summary:This study investigates the issue of electronic sexual harassment, a crime that is increasingly prevalent in the digital age. The research aims to understand the legal and social dimensions of this phenomenon, focusing on its impact on individuals and communities. The objective of the study is to analyse existing laws and evaluate their effectiveness in addressing these crimes. The study employed an analytical methodology that encompassed a review of legal literature and previous research, alongside an analysis of specific judicial cases related to electronic sexual harassment. It concentrated on both national and international laws and examined their application across different contexts. The findings indicated significant deficiencies in current legislation aimed at combating electronic sexual harassment, as many laws are inadequate to tackle the escalating challenges associated with this issue. Furthermore, victims encounter difficulties in accessing legal and psychological support. The study concluded that there is a pressing need for international cooperation and the formulation of comprehensive, effective legislation to combat electronic sexual harassment. Additionally, it highlighted the importance of community awareness regarding the risks posed by these crimes and the protection measures available, which can play a vital role in mitigating their adverse effects on individuals and communities.
