En el presente artículo se pretende analizar la regulación del derecho de acceso a la asistencia y apoyo de las víctimas del delito en el Derecho español y en concreto cómo se contempla en la Ley 4/2015, de 27 de abril, del Estatuto de la víctima del delito, su Real Decreto de desarrollo y las últimas modificaciones legislativas. Se pondrá especial énfasis en la función que realizan las Oficinas de Asistencia a las Víctimas del delito que se han creado en España, y en concreto en la Comunidad Valenciana. Así como en la necesidad de la prevención de la victimización secundaria, definida como los costes personales que sufre la víctima de un hecho delictivo en su intervención en el sistema penal, policial y judicial. | ||
| 520 | |a The science of victimology has had a lot to do with the rediscovery of the victim and has positively influenced the development of international and European legislative initiatives on the recognition of rights to the victim of crime. This article aims to analyze the regulation of the right of access to assistance and support of crime victims in Spanish Law and specifically as provided in Law 4/2015, of April 27, on the Statute of the victim of crime, its implementing Royal Decree, and the most recent legislative amendments. A special emphasis will be placed on the role performed by the Victim Support Offices established in Spain, with particular reference to those operating in the Valencian Community. As well as the need to prevent secondary victimization, defined as the personal costs suffered by the victim of a criminal act in his intervention in the criminal, police and judicial system. | ||
