| 520 | |a Esta investigación pretende contribuir de manera exploratoria a la comprensión de las características de los jóvenes entre 18 y 30 años en prisión que han transitado previamente por los sistemas de protección a la infancia y justicia juvenil. Partimos de un proyecto de investigación desarrollado en prisiones de la comunidad autónoma de Andalucía y analizamos algunas características sociodemográficas y factores de riesgo frente al delito y la victimización durante la infancia y adolescencia de dos perfiles identificados: jóvenes que tuvieron doble expediente y jóvenes con antecedentes exclusivamente judiciales. Se observa que en el primer perfil hay una importante presencia de jóvenes extranjeros que llegaron al país siendo menores no acompañados. En general, ambos grupos refieren un historial significativo de conductas delictivas de tipo patrimonial y de reincidencia penitenciaria, pero también experiencias de victimización, consumo de sustancias tóxicas y bajo nivel formativo. Los hallazgos invitan a reflexionar sobre la importancia de conocer sus experiencias vitales para adecuar las respuestas institucionales, desde un enfoque preventivo integral, que atienda a factores que, en última instancia, puedan influir en el ingreso a prisión. | ||
| 520 | |a This research aims to contribute to the exploration and understanding of the characteristics of young people in prison, between 18 and 30 years old, who have previously been involved in the child welfare and juvenile justice systems. Based on a research project developed in the prisons of the Autonomous Community of Andalusia, we analyze some socio-demographic characteristics and risk factors for crime and victimization during childhood and adolescence of two identified profiles: crossover youths and youths who had only prior judicial measures. It is observed that in the first profile there is a significant presence of foreign youths who arrived in the country as unaccompanied minors. In general, both groups report a significant history of property-related offenses and recidivism in prison, as well as victimization experiences, substance use and low level of education. These findings invite reflection on the importance of understanding their life experiences to adapt institutional responses from a comprehensive preventive approach that addresses factors that may ultimately lead to imprisonment. | ||
