520 |a Rehabilitation-type programs are frequently associated with supervision services. In this chapter, we detail the variety of rehabilitative programs, interventions, or services that may be offered. Often, these are included in special conditions or general requirements of supervision. Some programs or services are offered by supervision staff (officers) or clinical staff that are employed by the supervision agency, another government agency, or a nongovernmental agency. This chapter outlines the evidence-based programs and interventions that exist. As few countries can describe the services or programs that they offer, we focus on the range of potential services or programs. We pay special attention to efforts to have officers deliver evidence-based treatments and practices in terms of how these enhance the working relationship between officers and people under supervision.
