AB El reconocimiento de la responsabilidad penal del individuo en la esfera internacional ha sido acompañado por la progresiva afirmación de una serie de principios y garantías que han fortalecido, gradualmente, el debido proceso en el ámbito del derecho internacional penal. En ese contexto, el pre­sente trabajo se concentrará en analizar el desarrollo del derecho a la doble instancia y de la garantía del doble conforme, frente a sentencias dictadas por la Corte Penal Internacional.
AB The acknowledgment of individual criminal liability in the inter­national arena has been followed by the progressive establishment of a range of principles and guarantees that have gradually strengthened the due process of law in the field of international criminal law. In this context, this paper will focus on analyzing the development of the right to a second hearing and the right of appeal in criminal matters, in cases of verdicts and sentences delivered by the International Criminal Court.
