AB Este artículo aborda las condiciones de vida en los departamentos de aislamiento y en los centros penitenciarios de régimen cerrado desde la mirada de las personas presas. Este enfoque contiene limitaciones y a su vez implica una aportación imprescindible al debate ético y jurídico que ha de plantearse ante la restrictiva normativa y las condiciones estructurales de cumplimiento de la pena de prisión que ponen en entredicho el respeto a los derechos humanos.
AB This article addresses the living conditions in isolation departments and closed prisons from the perspective of prisoners. This approach contains limitations and at the same time implies an essential contribution to the ethical and legal debate that must be raised in the face of the restrictive regulations and structural conditions for serving the prison sentence that call into question respect for human rights.
