In addition to standard personal data items, the 1975 survey covers such areas of interest as race relations, the family, social control, leisure activities, education, morals, violence, and pornography. The data were collected by the National Opinion Research Center as the fourth in a five-year series of general social surveys. The survey was administered in March and April of 1975 to a national cross-section sample of adults 18 years of age and older. The data were obtained from the Roper Center for Public Opinion Research.
