Three core themes emerged characterizing the comprehensive experiences of women enduring IPV: 1) experiencing violence as a form of ownership, 2) feeling powerless in a society that condones violence, and 3) suffering oppression in a male-dominated society. The findings predominantly reflect a feminist perspective, suggesting that IPV stems from patriarchal structures that perpetuate male dominance, power, and control over women. | ||
