RT Article T1 Stalking Perpetration in Adolescents in the Context of Intimate Partner Violence JF Victims & offenders VO 19 IS 6 SP 1226 OP 1238 A1 Gomes, Marta A2 Ferreira, Catarina A2 Silva, Sofia A2 Figueiredo, Patrícia A2 Ramião, Eduarda A2 Barroso, Ricardo LA English YR 2024 UL https://krimdok.uni-tuebingen.de/Record/1898366780 AB Intimate partner violence can occur as a form of stalking behaviour, which is considered a pattern of repeated and unwanted behaviours towards another individual. A cross-sectional study was conducted with 498 participants from Portugal, aged between 12–21 years. Findings support that adolescent stalking perpetrators exhibited psychopathic traits, psychopathology, aggression, and childhood trauma. Results showed that anxiety partially mediates the association between childhood trauma and stalking perpetration. These findings provide a better understanding of stalking in adolescence, which allows professionals to have a more comprehensive approach when considering intervention programs. Limitations and future research are discussed. K1 Anxiety K1 Intimate Partner Violence K1 Childhood trauma K1 Adolescence K1 Stalking DO 10.1080/15564886.2024.2347641
