|a This Comment brings attention to a group that is overlooked within our prisons—adult inmates with learning disabilities. These inmates currently face challenges in receiving appropriate educational programming. Recognizing that several studies support the proposition that education reduces recidivism, this Comment argues that correctional education programs must make reforms to accommodate adult inmates with learning disabilities in order for education to fully impact recidivism rates
