Son 14 los capítulos de que consta y son 15 los autores responsables de los mismos. El problema central que se expone gira en torno al maltrato infantil, aunque lo que interesa a los autores es su explicación neurobio-psicológica, es decir, saber qué ocurre en el cerebro de un niño cuando hay maltrato y, lo más importante, cómo es su conducta durante y después del maltrato o abuso físico o psicológico. Hacia el final se exponen las principales medidas que deben de tomarse ante esta situación. En general, se abordan en su esencia los temas que se proponen estudiar y siempre se hace con un alto rigor científico y precisión terminológica y conceptual.Review of: Fernández, R.M. (Coord.) There are 14 chapters and 15 authors. The central problem revolves around childhood abuse and the authors have focused on a neuro-bio-psychological explanation to understand what happens in the brain of a child who is abused, and, most importantly, their behavior during and after physical or psychological abuse or mistreatment. Toward the end of the book the main measures that should be taken in this kind of situation are presented. Generally, the authors cover the essence of the topics brought up and the presentation is always done with extreme scientific rigor and terminological and conceptual precision | ||
