Description
Summary:Some studies highlight the role of cultural differences and factors related to immigration with intimate partner violence. The aim of this study was to determine if differential profile related to IPV between Spanish (n = 400) and Latin American immigrant batterers (n = 117) exist. For this purpose, variables are selected according to the ecological model and were compared between groups using ANOVAs, MANOVAs and Chi-square tests. Results showed significant differences at individual and contextual level between groups. Implications of these differences in preventing IPV through intervention with offenders were discussed.
