Respondents are selected at random from the Postal Address File and participation in the survey is entirely voluntary. The Scottish Crime and Justice Survey, 2018-2019 contains data from the Main Questionnaire only and is based on around 5,500 face-to-face interviews with adults (aged 16 or over) living in private households in Scotland.
