Zusammenfassung:Cet article examine l’évolution récente de la notion de mafia à l’aune d’un procès particulièrement médiatisé en Italie et dans le monde. L’affaire « Mafia Capitale » ou « Mondo di mezzo » a détaché durablement cette notion des régions d’implantation historique en concentrant l’attention des enquêteurs sur l’emploi de la méthode mafieuse par les mis en examen. Le cas des mondes criminels romains peut éclairer le cas français en raison de plusieurs analogies ainsi que de sa construction historique.
Dieser Artikel untersucht die jüngste Entwicklung des Begriffs der Mafia im Licht eines in Italien und der Welt besonders öffentlichkeitswirksamen Prozesses. Die Affäre "Mafia Capitale" oder "Mondo di mezzo" hat nachhaltig die Vorstellung von den Regionen der historischen Einbettung gelöst, indem sie die Aufmerksamkeit der Ermittler auf die Mafia-Methode der Beschuldigten lenkte. Der Fall der römischen Unterwelt kann den französischen Fall aufgrund mehrerer Analogien sowie seiner historischen Konstruktion erhellen.
Este artículo examina la reciente evolución de la noción de mafia a la luz de un juicio especialmente destacado en Italia y en el mundo. El caso «Mafia Capitale» o «Mondo di mezzo» ha desvinculado definitivamente esta noción de las regiones en las que se estableció históricamente para centrar la atención de los investigadores en el uso del método mafioso por parte de los acusados. El caso de los mundos criminales romanos puede arrojar luz sobre el caso francés por varias analogías, así como por su construcción histórica.
This article examines the recent evolution of the notion of mafia in the light of a trial that received a lot of media attention in Italy and around the world. The "Mafia Capitale" or "Mondo di mezzo" case has durably separated this concept from the region of history by focusing the investi-gators’ attention on the use of the Mafia method by the defendants. The case of the Roman underworld can shed light on the French case due to several analogies as well as its historical construction.
