A partir de una revisión del vocabulario fundamental de la teoría de la justicia restaurativa se efectúa un balance de los resultados de los estudios de evaluación de programas y se presenta un modelo de evaluación que permite determinar en qué grado se han alcanzado, en cada proceso, los objetivos restaurativos del programa. Las conclusiones se orientan hacia la necesidad de dar un impulso a nuevos programas restaurativos en el ámbito de los países hispanohablantes desde una actitud que lleve a desbordar el marco legal y ante todo mental vigente. AB The study addresses the need to make a critical exam of the relationship between the theoretical conception and the practice of restorative justice and, specifically, to pay attention to the importance of language on both levels. Based on a review of the fundamental vocabulary of restorative justice theory, a balance is made of the results of program evaluation studies. From this basis an evaluation model is presented that allows reviewing the degree to which the restorative objectives of a program have been achieved in each specific process.
