AB These data examine the attraction of shoplifting and vandalism to nonprofessional offenders. The data consists of actual autobiographical accounts of offenses committed by undergraduates enrolled in three sections of undergraduate criminology classes at the University of California, Los Angeles. Verbatim answers of the respondents are presented.
