Así pues, con la relectura de los textos psicoanalíticos y bajo la mirada de lo que acontece a los niños en conflicto con la ley, en los cuales prevalece una ausencia real o funcional del padre, ha sido posible revalorar la participación del padre en este complejo, su injerencia en el desarrollo psicológico y social de niño, la estructuración de su personalidad, la introyección de la ley en el inconsciente, también su importante función en el control de impulsos, lo que lleva al niño a un adecuado autocontrol y a la capacidad para sentir empatía por los otros, a la capacidad para experimentar culpa y el desarrollo de un sentido moral. | ||
