It is noted that the movement teamed up with the Critical Resistance organization, which had been founded in 1998 at the Critical Resistance: Beyond the Prison-Industrial Complex conference held in Berkeley, and that the two movements wrote a joint Critical Resistance-Incite! statement. Details of how the joint statement came to be written are provided. | ||
