Sumario:In this article the author discusses aspects of the aerial bombing of civilian populations, state criminality, and the commission of state crimes. The article examines the normalization of the aerial bombing of non-combatants, challenges the political immunity of such actions, and looks at areas where these state crimes occur. Also discussed is the evolution of the campaigns of aerial bombing of civilians which became a commonplace occurrence during the Spanish Civil War and during the Second World War.
