Zusammenfassung:This article discusses the establishment and practices of the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania-based societies Philly's Pissed (Pissed) and Philly Stands Up (PSU) that emerged as a result of a series of sexual assaults in the anarcho-punk community during a festival in 2004. Topics include the continued existence of patriarchal behavior and biases within grassroots organizations, the development of Points of Unity principles to allow for consistent approaches amidst changing group members and affiliations, and the use of community-based responses to address sexual assault through direct involvement.
