This paper gives an overview of the most popular measurement methods used in neuroscience such as EEG and MRI, that have relevance for forensic psychology. After outlining these methods, I have provided some examples from forensic research. The paper closes with a brief discussion of the challenges confronting forensic researchers and clinicians using neuroimaging in research as well as in the court room.
