A study of blood feud indicates that most of the murders were committed with a gun. The majority of the subjects interviewed have low educational status and large families. Their main occupation is farming. The main causes of blood feud are disagreements over land and water supplies and matters of honour. Also, blood feud can be initiated by abduction.
