Although it is based on experience rather than on research, the assumptions that preceded the design and implementation of the program were empirically verified through the author's personal experience gained from conducting it during 3 years of working with violent offenders in prison facilities of two countries. Among the many inmates who participated in the program was found a great desire to learn. Thus, although it may not be easy to prevent or eliminate violence, it may be possible and advisable to teach violent people to change their behaviors by responding to issues rather than reacting to personalities during conflicts. This might contribute to the reduction of violence at least as well as the development of new technologies of incarceration
