RT Article T1 Crime and the dialectics of inclusion/exclusion JF The British journal of criminology VO 44 IS 4 SP 550 OP 561 A1 Young, Jock 1942-2013 LA English YR 2004 UL https://krimdok.uni-tuebingen.de/Record/1639316426 AB The article focuses on the dialectics of inclusion and exclusion. The sociology of deviance and anti-psychiatry is fitted well with concerns about deviancy amplification (vicious circles of exclusion), moral panics, the stereotype of youth and the criminal, etc. There were many merits about such a discourse; the focus on the criminal justice system and other institutions of social control as exclusionary agents was of great relevance. But there were drawbacks: the dualism between anthropophagic and anthropoemic societies was too sharp and there was no doubt that inclusive societies and inclusionary processes were seen as advantageous K1 Soziale Exklusion K1 Kriminologische Theorie K1 Positivistische Kriminologie K1 Kriminalität DO 10.1093/bjc/azh034
