678 |b Dr. Mohammed Ihsan (Professor) was the Kurdistan Representative to the Federal Government of Iraq from 2007 to 2012, Minister for Extra Regional Affairs from 2005 to 2011, Minister for Human Rights, President of the General Board for Disputed Areas in Iraq, and International Investigator for Genocide Crimes in Iraq from 2001 to · 2005. He holds a Ph.D. in International Law and another Ph.D. (Exon) in Political Science. He is the founder of Civic Education programs for Iraqi Kurdistan Schools. In addition to his current [2019] post as President of the International University of Erbil, he is a senior research fellow at the Defence Studies Department (King's College London) University of London, an honorary research fellow at the College of Social Sciences and International Studies (University of Exeter), Senior Visiting Professor at the Korean University for International Studies, and a Visiting Professor at the Department of International Law (University for Peace).
