|b Assistant professor and BSW coordinator for the Missouri State University (MSU) School of Social Work. She is a licensed clinical social worker in the state of Missouri. Prior to MSU she was the director of field education for Southwest Baptist University. Before entering academia, she spent over a decade in frontline and administrative positions in child welfare. Her primary research interests are in child welfare services and organizations; family engagement in early childhood eduication; burnout, turnover, and retention of scoial work professionals; and family violence.
